Exercise Therapy

An exercise therapist (Certified Exercise Physiologist – CEP) performs assessments, prescribes exercise, provides exercise supervision, lifestyle counselling, and education for the purpose of improving health, function and work or sport performance. To attain the CEP status, candidates must have completed a four year degree in Kinesiology and obtain post graduate work related experience/course work.

At Stapleford Physiotherapy and Rehab Centre, our CEP’s are leaders in empowering those to make positive changes in their overall well being. Our goal is to help develop lifestyle management skills needed to achieve and maintain the energy and vigor to withstand life’s daily challenges. Each individual is treated using functional exercise techniques based upon following the biomechanics of natural motion. Our mission is to optimize each individual’s potential by building competency and confidence in all areas of their physical health. By encouraging our clients to take control of their lives, providing them with the tools for success, together we celebrate in their achievement. Living Now. Living Full.
